Hello There!

Brittney Glenn is a Children’s Book Illustrator and character designer from Georgia.

Brittney has helped kids of all backgrounds discover the magic of reading, whether they are early readers or just think that reading is uncool. She illustrated stories and moments within different topics while entertaining children through her published works in Spider Magazine and two independently published picture books. Brittney has an amazing ability take the text and make it easier for readers to find the heart or comedy through the characters, their design, and how they convey emotions. Using her unique perspective, she brings a diverse cast of characters to life for the audience.

She is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and a Minor in Sequential Art and Visual Storytelling. She is also a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Her main program of choice is currently Clip Studio Paint. Although she primarily works digitally, Brittney enjoys using pencil, pen, and ink, as well as alcohol and acrylic markers, in her sketchbooks to plan ideas and, of course, for fun.

In addition to her illustration projects, she has collaborated with companies like Michaels as a graphic designer with stationery and wrapping paper. She has also worked with small businesses on their logo and brand design, and other print media. You can find her Graphic Design work here.

Brittney is a born and raised Georgia native. She currently lives in the Atlanta Metropolitan area with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys baking cakes and watching movies.
